Jason Lawrence Olive, can currently be seen playing the role of Joseph in hit television comedy Tyler Perry’s For Better Or Worse. Much of this weekly series centers on the relationship of Joseph (played by Olive) and Leslie (played by Crystle Stewart) as they wrestle with that age-old question... "are they the one." 

Cult film fans might have also caught Jason playing the role of Hunter in Greg Araki’s KaboomKaboom won the innaugural Gay Palm Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2011. Jason, is an actor who enjoys great diversity in his projects and is also known for his roll of Jessie on the critically acclaimed Lisa Kudrow, HBO Comedy, The Comeback. His recurring role as the doctor everyone loves to hate, Dr. McHottie on the The Game, went viral for BET. Past performances of note include originating the character of Dr. Frank Hubbard on the daytime drama All MyChildren, playing the "fashionably-friendly" companion of Kate Hudson in Raising Helen - Chad, and starring as Richard LeMontant in Ann Rice's unforgettable saga of life, love and the collision of cultures in The Feast of All Saints.

Jason is currently producing and directing the single-camera comedy Brothers In Law he penned and will star in along with his FBOW cast-mate Kent Faulcon. Filming began in February. 

Jason has appeared in over 200 TV episodes. 

Jason is also a celebrated photographer who was most recently selected by Emerging Focus as one of the top 20 emerging photographers in the country. His newest series, "The Devil's Churn Collection," focuses on the Northern Pacific Coast. The collection gives viewers an intimate look at the ocean in a way they have never seenbefore. Both beautiful and awe inspiring, the collection asks new questions and paves new ground in the discussion of landscape photography. Jason attended the University of Hawaii on a literature and sports scholarship. Having qualified for his first professional volleyball tournament at the age of 17, Jason went on to become a First Team All-American at the University of Hawai'i as well as lead the school to it's first ever Final-Four appearance. Today, Jason gives back to the sport by coaching and mentoring children through his foundation, The Jayo Foundation. The foundation's motto of "Volleyball Helping Kids" has lead to the creation of the largest Celebrity Pro-Am volleyball tournament in the sport. This year the Jayo Invitational will celebrate its 15th year.
